The Groove Studios Parent Association (GSPA) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to making performing arts education accessible for all students at Groove Studios. We support children and families across the Kitsap Peninsula by reducing financial barriers to participation — providing scholarships, funding competition expenses, and creating opportunities for learning, growth, and community. Guided by the belief that every child deserves the chance to thrive in the arts, GSPA works to ensure that income, background, or ability never stand in the way of pursing dance and performance.
Supporting Performing Arts Education
Our Mission
The Groove Studios Parent Association (GSPA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization built by parents, for students.
We came together with a shared belief: every child who wants to participate in the performing arts should have the opportunity to do so — regardless of financial circumstance. Dance builds confidence. It builds discipline, teamwork, resilience, and belonging. It gives kids a place to grow, to express themselves, and to shine.
But we also know that costumes, competition fees, travel, and training costs can create barriers for families.
That’s where GSPA steps in.
Our mission is to reduce financial barriers for students and expand access to performing arts education. We do this through fundraising, scholarships, community partnerships, and volunteer support — always working to make participation more accessible and sustainable for all Groove Studios dancers.
Every dollar raised helps offset real costs. Every volunteer hour strengthens our programs. Every sponsor and supporter becomes part of a larger story — one where students are empowered, families are supported, and the arts remain vibrant in our community.
We are parents investing in possibility.
We are community members supporting young artists.
We are building access — together.
Events & Community
For every donut purchased, every poinsettia on a holiday table, every raffle ticket, sponsorship, or event participation — your dollars directly support real kids in our community.
GSPA fundraises so dancers can access costumes, competitions, showcase performances, scholarships, and the full experience of performing arts education. Every fundraiser we host is designed with one purpose in mind: reducing financial barriers and expanding opportunity.
When you participate, you’re not just buying a product or attending an event.
You’re helping a student step on stage with confidence.
You’re helping a family say “yes” to an opportunity they might otherwise have to pass up.
You’re investing in youth performing arts right here in Kitsap County.
Join us, support local, and help keep our kids dancing.
